Duplicate Time Entries
Randy 3/20/2007 4:11:04 PM
Hi,
We use BCM 2007 to Bill our time. Here's my procedure for creating a time
entry:
Open Outlook calendar
Block some time, enter my description
Click Link Time Entry to Account
Create Time Entry
Save and Close.

Here's my problem, most of the time when I need to update a time entry that
has already been created, it only gives me the option to create a new time
entry. Sometimes I have the show time entry option, but if I don't, my
initial entry will not be updated, but a second entry will be created. This
also happens if I drag an appointment to change the time, then go into the
entry and update the description.

Setup:
Office 2007
BCM2007, not using offline option
Exchange 2003

I think the feature is just "create a timeentry entry in Office
Accounting", and does not include include editting existing timeslips.
The only solution may be to edit the timeslip directly in Office
Accounting. You could also wait until the entry is complete before
submitting it.

Well, I have 4 other users who do not have this problem. I seem to be the
only one who is seeing this issue in our firm.
