That was a simple enough answer. Is there a business or technial reason as to
why not? seems like a really good idea.

The business reason is that Microsoft wants you to buy Outlook 2007.
The Outlook 2007 to OneNote 2007 integration is so good it's a poor
idea to contemplate using Outlook 2003. Bite the bullet and get
2007. But first ask yourself, do you really need the integration ?
If yes, get 2007.

Thanks, I have 2007 on one system but not the other and it is trully
dependent upn how IT rolls it out. So I find your answer a bit curt ...

Looks like we can't link directly but the one thing we can do which I've
found useful is to send an e-mail message to one note. For me it ends up
accomplishing the same goal which is to include e-mail content as part of a
central repository of notes and documents for a topic or project. I find it
easier to use the tab organization along the right side of the one note
interface to browse through e-mail content than folders in outlook.

BTW, for those of us who are hostage to our network administrators and can't
"bite the bullet" and upgrade to 2007 it would be more helpful to hear
options or work arounds than cliches or open ended questions.
