Indexing and .pdf files
"Mario - Roma" <mario[ at ]nospam.local> 12/12/2008 5:02:50 PM
I installed the evaluation version of OneNote 2007 and it looks very
usefull.
Let me ask three very basic questions:
1) Can OneNote 2007 cohexist with Office 2003?
2) how can I enable the option to search for words included in documents
included in OneNote?
3) how can I enable indexing .pdf files?
At the moment the indexing service is disabled on my Windows XP PC, so I
preasume I must start from the very beginning...
Regards
Marius

Yes, that's how I use it. Some interaction functionality with Outlook is
more limited, but I have found no impact.

Works out of the box. You can even search for words in images that you have
clippped into OneNote.

Will follow up.

Yes, you will need to have Windows Search 4.0
