Which one should I install?
Martin <martinvalley[ at ]comcast.net> 3/26/2007 6:45:20 PM
I just bought a new Lenovo computer with Vista Business. I also
purchased a copy of MS Office Pro 2007 to install on this machine.

When I got the computer all set up and running, I found that Lenovo
had provided a trial version of Office 2007. All I have to do is click
on an icon and supposedly Office will be there for up to 60 days.

So, my question is, should I activate the trial version and just give
it the product key from the one I bought? Or should I uninstall
/delete the trial stuff and install the separate package from the CD's
?

Or, does it make any difference?

Thanks for any advice.

DL / JoAnn -

Thanks - I got rid of the trial version and installed the one I
bought. Everything is working fine.

A bit late now but if the trial was Office 2007 Pro, the same as you bought,
you could have just entered the serial and activated it - It's the same
program.
