Is there any facility to compare (and then sync) two notebooks?

One can manually compare two notebooks by opening them in two windows
using Ctrl+M.

As to synching:
What are you trying to do?

Oh, I see.
ON has a fantastic feature for synching - better than anything I know in
any other current software.

The main thing is:
Store the notebooks only on *ONE* machine, not on both.
Using a desktop and a laptop the file would be stored on the desktop
(could be on the laptop instead).

Then on the laptop the notebooks are opened *from* the desktop (mapped
drive, shared directory).
The laptop then would work from OneNote's *cache* (not with files stored
on the laptop <!>).

As long as as the two computers are connected, ON will *automatically*
sync all of the open notebooks, one can work on both machines.
Once the computers are disconnected, ON continues working from the
cache. One can work on both machines.
As soon as the computers are re-connected, the data are synched both
ways.

Really powerful, isn't it?

If any additional questions, pls ask.

Rainald

Yes - I understand about syncing with a shared notebook. However, what I have
is two notebooks that I want to combine into one.

The original suggestion about opening up side-by-side windows and manually
comparing is the only option.
