Get License Back from install mls098 12/6/2008 3:45:01 PM I bought new laptop (Display Model) and 3 license version Office 2007. I installed 2007 then decided to take laptop back. Can I recover that install so I can keep the 3 license active.

My computer subsequently crashed (hard drive failure), and I'm not sure if I need to call Microsoft to "free up" my license. I have the 25-digit Product Key here. If I try to license Publisher again and use this Product Key to validate the license, will it reject me because it's considered used already?
