drscrubs 4/12/2007 1:08:02 AM
i have a full version of onenote 2003 i paid 110.00 for, over half of the
tabs wont open ,and states " this section is from a different version of
onenote and cannot be open, your version cannot load this file , but a
converter may be available on the Downloads on Office online Web site, the
question is how do i find this converter, or how do i open this ? i
downloaded a office converter that is offered online ms office online and it
did no good , any information will be appreciated

Did you ever have OneNote 2007 installed? Maybe as beta?

Try installing the trial of OneNote 2007 (you can download it from
somewhere on microsoft.com - sorry, I don't have the link handy). If
OneNote 2007 can open them, it means they most likely got upgraded
(particularly if you share the notebook with other people). Otherwise,
it's possible the sections got corrupted (although I don't recall ever
seeing corruption on such a scale) - check the backup folder to see if
there is a recent version that OneNote 2003 is able to open.

i have tried to remove and reinstall onenote 2003 and get the same statement
, i dont see a copy of 2007 anywhere , this is so frustrating, i am a student
and this had so many notes on it , i just dont understand , so what is being
said is that i need to have 2007 now ? lol this could get really expensive ,
