We are currently building a new Citrix Farm along with a new desktop.
Office is build with a custom transform. We are using Outlook 2003 and
Office XP (Outlook is set to not availabe in XP transform). The transform
for the desktop and TS environment is the exactly the same. I am having two
difficulties that are occurring in the TS environment and not in the desktop
environment.
1) Outlook XP actually installs and runs fine. I have to go to the
add/remove programs and hit change on the Office XP to remove it.
2) Probably more plaguing is the fact that every other time you open word,
you get the error message that says "word failed to start correctly last
time.....do you want to start word in safe mode" I have actually uninstalled
office and reinstalled with the same results. I have pulled all templates
out of the startup and the issue still occurs. The only items that show up
in the event vwr is the fact that I rejected entry into Safe Mode and word
opens fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated....
