Descapa's new OneNote 2007 tools here, scattered bits here and there, and hopefully a plethora of OneNote extensions forthcoming ...... all made painful because there is no central place for them.
OneNote needs one place.
For the users.
Ideas ? Volunteers ?

I'd be more than happy to host all the addons on my server. I've got tons of storage and tons of transfer (200 GB and 2,000GB) I bet, however, that MS has something up their sleeve.

Ben ? Are you thinking of updating your OneNote site for OneNote 2007 ?

MS probably won't host 3rd party hacks/addons. As well, hosting is one thing, but what i think people want is .....
A one page list of
Name of PowerToy / 50 word short story of what it does / Author / Local Link to file / Link to Author's site.
Being able to see some reviews might be good as well.

I hope to create a new page for OnPPT that lists them all. I have been swamped this month: I have done 32 presentations on Office 2007 since the first of the month. I have 2 more tomorrow and 2 more on Wednesday. Once those are done, I can get back to real life, including site updates... Watch for it :)

That domain is a good one, and should work well. The only problem I foresee with it is that onenotepowertoys is blog style. What you are suggesting (and quite frankly, is much needed) is a static page. There would have to be a redesign of onenotepowertoys.com.
I would love to do it myself, as well, but like Kathy I'm swamped! My finals are two weeks away. Finals in medical school are just crazy. So, I could do something two weeks from now.
Here is a question...If we want one single page that will talk about each of the addons, how would we go about allowing user ratings? Are we talking about a wiki here? Also, how would the site admin verify that the addon is a "safe" addon?
These are some thoughts that ran through my brain last night.

Also I can just have a page that I continually update, though I just haven't had the time to get around to that yet.
I know AdminID from the onenotepowertoys.com site would probably want to help out.

My suggestions to AdminID is to make it darn clear which PowerToys are for 2007 and which ones are 2003. Currently his list is too vague in this regard.
