I am currently using Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 with OneNote 2007 (12.0.4518.1014) The OneNote Application keeps crashing on me even when I am not working with it and it is sitting idle in the background. It is occurring about once an hour.
I have run the Microsoft Diagnostics and I keep sending the Error Reports to Microsoft. I have probably sent over 20 reports in the last couple of days since I started using OneNote.
I have put a lot of info into a few different notebooks and am backing the info up often. However, I am fearful that I will Loose something important if this keeps happening.
Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can fix it.
Regards, -Lee

Please reply to this post with the Watson Bucket number. With that information we should be able to figure out the problem. Here is how you get the number: - START | Control Panel - Run Administrative Tools, then run Event Viewer - When Event Viewer comes up, click on "Application" in the left pane - Scroll the right pane to the date and time of the last crash you submitted. You will see a red-X showing the crash. Double-click on the Information line directly above it. - Please copy and paste that information into your reply posting.
Thanks for using OneNote!

I'm having crashing problems also whenever I try to use the pen tool on the drawing toolbar. I draw the shape and the application promptly and without fail, crashes. This is my information:
"Bucket 341996005, bucket table 1, faulting application onenote.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp 4542816b, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.2945, stamp 44ab9a84, debug? 0, fault address 0x00012a5b."
Thanks so much for any help!
Sorry for above post-- I'm not sure how it posted blank...

You aren't the only OneNote user hitting this crash. Let me see if we have a work around. I'll post again within a few days.
