sync problem "minimus" <spammergetthisemail[ at ]live.co.uk> 10/14/2008 9:17:56 PM I keep my on files on a usb stick. I normally work offline and when i am done at the end of the day i plug the usb stick and sync eveything. Hence i plug in a press the sync button on the toolbar. I used to do that every day. Now, the sync button is dimmed and i cannot press it. when hover on it it says on is working offline. However, when i plug in on and open it, the sync is automatically done. The problem is that I cannot press the button anymore because it is not active. whats the problem?

If it is just the icon that's broken, but sync works fine otherwise, try resetting the standard toolbar. To do so, click the dropdown arrow at the end of a toolbar, select "add/remove buttons", select the standard toolbar, and click "reset toolbar" at the bottom. This bug tends to occur when you move around the sync icon when customizing toolbars, so if you avoid touching it during toolbar customization, you should be able to avoid it.
