Office Button | Word Options | Advanced: General: "Allow opening a document
in Draft view." Note that documents will need to be saved in Draft view (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/SaveViewAndZoom.htm) before this will take
effect. If you switch to Draft view in the new Blank Document that appears
when you start Word and then quit, Word should reopen in Draft view.
