I am running Office 07 and trying to input several long, complex equations. For the most part, entering the equations is easy. I am a huge fan of the new equation editor, it's so much easier to be able to type in MT than use the stupid graphical selection toolbar. Anyway, my problem is, the space that Word is reserving for hte equation is an odd shape and the editor keeps cutting my equations to a new line in odd places. Is there are way to either specify a shape for Word to reserve for an equation, or can I manually enter and delete line breaks in my equations. When I say funny shape, I mean that in one of my equations, it cut the equation into 5 lines, on the first line it had three characters, on the second line it had about 20 characters, on the third line it had 6 characters, on the fourth line it had about 20 characters and on the final line it had about ten characters. The total equation "box" looked like a stack of blocks randomly stacked.
