Hello,
If you are running Windows XP, you can regain a lot of disk space if you delete files/folders leftover from installing the various (and numerous) Windows updates (assuming you have installed them along the way). These files/folders, in general, are needed only if you want to uninstall them. But if you have been using the PC for a while and it's working fine, there isn't much need to keep those files/folders hanging around taking up valuable disk space. I have seen several free utilities on the net that will find these files/folders and delete them for you if you're not able to do it manually. You could regain multiple megs of space.
