Corrupt or not available files in office 2007 set up
Adelphia 11/12/2008 1:28:04 PM
I am not tech savvy, but have in the past installed office. Now have windows
xp and attempting to install Office 2007 home and student edition. Worked
fine on first computer--all others get this message: Set up cannot contune
required file either corrupted or not available. Run Setup from original
source disc or download location. This is the office Microsoft disc. Any
ideas what this means or more importantly What To Do?

Which file is the required file that the install is looking for. Also check your Event Viewer for this issue

Thanks for responding. It is a "Setup Error". It states that a required
file is either corrupted or not available. It does not specify what file.
This occurs once the disc is put in. It also says to run setup from original
location.
