Problem with Activation
rconiv 3/15/2007 7:31:01 PM
I have a full copy of Office 2003 Professional OEM. I got it from a
reputable, microsoft certified company. I installed office 2003 and
everything went fine, but when I opened the program, the activation wizard
did not open up. If I go to help and try to activate it that way it says
it's already activated. But if I run office update it says the product is
not activated. I have gone and deleted the opa11.dat file, but it's just
recreated when I reopen any office program. The programs run fine, I just
can't run office update. This was with both no SP, and with SP2.

I did, they had never heard of this problem either. I called Microsoft, they
said since it's OEM, I would have to pay $49.00 to talk to someone. That's
why I am here.
