I receive the following message when I try to install Office 2007:
The language of this installation package is not supported by your system

Marc - I'm glad I could help out. It is kind of crazy that you would have to
copy the disk to a hard drive. Maybe it has something to do with the DVD
being read-only??? Who knows - Glad it worked for you,

Hi Todd;

I copied the CD to the local drive and it installed just fine. How stupid is
that? If I didn't work with SW developers all day I'd wonder what the hell
was up with that, but after some of the things I've seen nothing surprises me.

Cheers,

Marc

Marc - This is kind of strange but I rebooted my machine and waited a few
days and it seemed to install just fine. I have had the same type (but not
quite) problem happen. I read somewhere that you could copy the dvd to the
hard drive and run the install from the hard drive and this method did work.
It may help ---

I'm having the same problem trying to install Office 2007 from my Microsoft
Action Pack subscription on to a new installation of Windows XP SP2. This is
a fresh install with no previous versions of Office installed.

Any help from the Microsoft Office guys who wrote this installer?
