Small Business Suite / Outlook 2007
SCquestions 3/11/2007 8:27:00 PM
I am currently using the Small Business Suite 2003. I was running the
upgrade of Business Contact Manager. I really liked it, but I purchased a
Blackberry 8700g. When I went to sync, nothing would happen. After being on
hold for a good bit with Blackberry, I found out that BB will not sync with
the BCM part of Outlook. So I moved all of my BCM Contacts back to regular
contact and the sync world flawlessly.

So, my question is: Does the Small Business Suite2007 have to use the
Outlook 2007 or can it be run with regualr contacts??

Thank you

BCM has a separate store for its data. Sadly, most software for
syncing devices is hardwired for the Outlook store only--it doesn't
let you select which store or folders to sync. So, you have to wait
for BCM to release software for your device, or use another sync
software that lets you select BCM folders. Some have been linked to in
this forum in the past, but I don't remember their names.

So is that a "yes", one can run the Outlook 2007 program that comes in the
Small Business Suite without BCM, just the regular contact part?
