MSO Setup Begins With Every Access 2003 Startup Sam CenVA 6/15/2007 1:25:01 PM I upgraded from MSO Pro 2003 to MSO Pro 2007 and dispised 2007. Worse software I have encountered since early days of 1982. Deleted 2007 completely (HDD and Registry). Reinstalled MSO Pro 2003. Everything works fine as it did prior to the 2007 upgrade EXCEPT Access 2003. Every time I fire up Access, the MSO Pro 2003 Setup begins, gathers information, and then releases Access. From that point on, Access is fine. Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word do not do this. The System.Mdw is in "Program Files\Common Files\System" and does not appear corrupted. Any ideas? You probably need to log in as administrator, start up Access 2003 once to set the various settings in the registry and log out. Then running A2003 as a regular user should be fine.
