what happens to office 2000 when 2007 is installed ?

When I installed Office 2007 it stated that 2003 would be deleted. But it
did not perform this. I don't want both versions on my PC. Should I remove
Office 2003 on my own ?

Perhaps the Office 2003 components that are left were not included in the
Office 2007 version you installed, in which case they would'nt have been
removed
In any case you can uninstall office2003 or its remnents
