why my oem key does not work kevin 5/2/2007 7:38:00 PM I bought a MLK office 2007 basic parkage ( empty case), download a trail edtion from microsoft ,( standard and professional). try to convert trail to my OEM key, does not work! Help!

Office 2007 Basic edition (an OEM product) uses a different key from MS Office Standard and Professional Retail edition. OEM editions are intended to be preinstalled on new PCs and are license-locked to the machine they're first activated on. Office retail products are license-transferable ones that can be moved later to another machine.
