Hi Heidi,
Are you using version 2003 or 2007?

Hi Heidi,
On menu Business Contact Manager> Customize Forms > Manage User-Defined
Fields you'll see entities you can add the field you want. When you click
one of them new window for adding fields pops up.

You can select the page on the top which, you want your field to be in.
General, Details, User-Defined fields etc.
You can add, delete a field here. After you close this window, if you open a
form (Business Contact, Opportunity, ...) and select the page you added the
field, you should see the field you added is on the bottom of the page.

I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Burcu
