Computer restricting me from linking to Internet from email Audian 12/31/2008 7:13:01 PM When clicking on link in email (from Microsoft Outlook 2007) I get a message that reads "This operation is cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator. How do I reset the computer to allow this operation?

This happens when you do not have IE selected as your default browser. (I suspect you are using Mozilla or Opera or may not have a default selected.) To make IE your default browser open IE, go to tools and then programs. On that page is a box for making IE default. If anyone know how to get outlook to not block file links with Mozilla as default browser, I would appreciate knowing.
