Do you have any Notebooks which are on a network server which require
synchronization? The quick way to tell - are there green circles on any of
the Notebooks in the list on the left side of the screen whose icons match
that of the Synchronization button on the toolbar?
If all of your Notebooks are on local storage, there's nothing to sync.
