Opportunity form won't open
MarcB 6/4/2007 11:25:00 AM
I think there is something wrong with the installation of BCM on my computer.
I frequently can't open forms. For example, I select an opportunity and
double-click on it, and I get the 'hourglass' for a few seconds, then nothing
happens.

I tried to shut down Outlook, and when I restart it, I get the following
error message: "Business Contact Manager for Outlook could not complete your
last action of actions. Please try again."

Does anyone know why this might be happening, and/or if there is a way to
check or refresh the configuration of BCM (preferably without re-installing
it!).

Thanks,
Marc

MarcB:

It could be corruption in the install but it may be things like these below.
Do a BACKUP before you do any of these procedures!!!
* Too many messages in your Inbox. Keep it clean and move the messages to
another folder
* Too little RAM memory. I wouldn't run with less than 1GB and 2GB is
better...
* Corruption in the PST file. Run SCANPST (more info in other threads here
and on the web)
* Corruption in the BCM database. Go to Business Contact Manager from the
main menu, Database Tools, Manage Database, Check for Errors.

HTH,
Lon
