How to convert OneNote from trial using VLK
naone 4/17/2007 12:18:01 AM
I am trying to convert OneNote 2007 from trial to real version. We purchased
a license key (I think it is a VLK) and it is isaying the key is not valid
when I try the conversion. The license was purchased from CDW so I know it
is legit. The problem I have is we did not purchase the media as I believed
that my trial version would convert.

Is there an issue with converting with a VLK? I am in a bind till I can get
media before my trial runs out.

Any help is appreciated

VLKs keys work only with VLK media. You might want to contact CDW and
ask them exactly what key you have and where to get the media from.

Thanks. I found out that we have the CD so I was able to install that way.
I could not find anywhere that VLK keys cannot be used for converting trial
software. I searched and talked with CDW and noone could answer that
question. Where did you get that information and is it documented
somehwhere?

Thanks,
