I have a similar setup and the performance is OK--compared with Office/ BCM 2003, and Xp, on a three year old PC.
Performance was slow at first while Vista's search was indexing everything in the BCM database, but that settled down after a couple of days of indexing.
The first access to financial details is always slow because the MOA system needs to load itself inside Outlook. But all subsequent accesses to financial data are fast. When you start up Outlook/BCM in the morning, access some financial data before the first phone call comes in.
There's an update from Microsoft that improves Outlook 2007's performance. It requires a complementary BCM update--install that one first. Links here: http://beyng.blogspot.com/2007/04/outlook-2007-update-requires-bcm-update.html
