How to copy TOC format from one doc to another?

Hi, I have a document whose TOC is formatted exactly as I like it - is there
an easy way to replicate this format in other documents? Thanks!

Yes, provided other documents use the same styles. You'll need to copy both
the TOC field itself and the TOC styles; the easiest way to do this is to
save the document as a template, then delete all the extraneous content.
Until you add content to a document based on the TOC, it will give an error
message, but once you add headings and update the field, it will look the
way you want it.
