Yes, provided other documents use the same styles. You'll need to copy both the TOC field itself and the TOC styles; the easiest way to do this is to save the document as a template, then delete all the extraneous content. Until you add content to a document based on the TOC, it will give an error message, but once you add headings and update the field, it will look the way you want it.
