You can select one already created IF it exists on the machine, and in the location the BCM install is expecting. Data in BCM 2003 is stored in the MSDE as *.ldf and *.mdf files .The default location is C:\Doc & Settings\<user profile>\Local Settings\Application data\Microsoft\BCM So you can find where you parked the DBs you created before and put them in the right place. You did make copies, backups or burn them to CD, right? The files are in the right place. i.e. the Business Contact Manager subfolder and outlook does create a new database in that folder.. the problem looks like Outlook does not recognize me? I can create a data base, I just cannot access it ?? I tried logging off and then on again but no luck. suggestions...
