Hi- I hope you can help me!! I changed my user account settings (for the logon at the Welcome screen) so that the limited user is now the admin user and the administration user account that I was using all the time is now the limited user. I did that hoping to increase the security for the account I was using most of the time. After logging on for the first time, Outlook has been problematic. I haven't changed any of the setting there, but the Business Contact Manager wouldn't open, and now I can't open Outlook at all. It opens but immediately crashes, and I get this screen: Business Contact Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. The is a checkbox wich says, "Restart BCM", which if I don't uncheck gets me into this unending cycle of opening and crashing. I've run "Detect and Repair", and no change, and now it opens in SAFE MODE only, but still crashes.
What should I do to begin to fix this - a full re-install????
THanks for your help!

Does the same issue happen if you run the program as an administrator ?
Also can you try creating a new Outlook profile and see if it works ?

Hi Raul- THanks for your quick reply. Yes, I had the same results after resetting my user to admin account, so yesterday, after reading several posts on this subject, I backed up my .pst files, and removed the Business Contact Manager and then reinstalled it. I think it had been corrupted. Now it seems like it works well, and I just finished re-installing all the updates. I just have to re-assign Word as my e-mail editor, and it should be all good to go.
Thanks! DJ
