problem with folders pls help
krastev 2/21/2007 2:33:43 PM
After installation of OneNote a problem appear with folders on my desktop.
When I double click them they open with OneNote instead of explorer so I
can’t see the their content. Is there any way to change that or I need to
uninstall OneNote. Please help!

Aloha krastev,

What version of OneNote are you using? What OS are you using? If you go
to Windows Explorer and go to Tools | Folder Options | File Types find the
File Folder and Folder file types and click the Advanced button for each
to see how it is currently set to open. Probably one or both are set to
"Open with Microsoft OneNote" and you'll want to change them back to "find"
or "explore".

Sorry this took a while. Found this in the newsgroup archives:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.general/msg/7b9f5fbcf5c712e6

Short version:
Click Start, then Run, then type in:
regsvr32 /i shell32
and hit OK.
