Using OneNote CLI or "How the heck does /new work?"

Hi folks,

I assumed that with the /new switch I could create a new section with the
specified parameter as name.
All I get is a new section with the name "Section 1", no matter what I add.

Can anyone tell me what to do here?
And if a pro is on the way: My final goal would be to create a sheet within
a fixed section. Is that possible at all?

Looks like /new will always create sections named "New Section #", and
will ignore the additional switch. To create a section with a specified
name you'd need to either make a copy of an empty section, or rename the
section after it is created.
