Delete alteration history

I have Office 2003 running on XP (SP3). I want to delete the alterations
information from a Word document before sending it out. I downloaded the
Office 2003 / XP Add-In Remove Hidden Data, but I can't get it to work.

It shows as an add-in under Tools | Add-Ins and I have adjusted the
Security information under Tools | Options | Security as per the
instructions, but still I don't find the "Remove Hidden data" command in
the File menu.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Do you mean track changes? If so select View/toolbars/ reviewing, then accept
all changes from the toolbar.

Hope this helps,
