I'm not sure if you are asking how to make a letter large or how to make it an outline or something else. To make any text larger, select the text then use Ctrl-Shift-] (or Ctrl-}. This will increase the size by 1 point. If you hold the "}" key down and have typamatic, it will grow before your very eyes. Use Ctrl-{ to reduce the size. To make the font an outline font, you will need to download an outline font, I think.
