Linked Text File in Access 2007
Database Girl 12/22/2008 3:25:01 PM
I am trying to link to a text file on a share drive. Everytime I try to set
up the link, I get the Microsoft Office Error dialog box (send or don't send
message) and the database automatically closes. I have set up the share
drive location in the trust center. I have also tried moving the text file
to my c:\ drive, setting up my c:\ in the Trust Center and I still get the
same error. Is there a step I am missing? Thank you in advance for your
assistance.

Addition information: I noticed that when I try to link to the text file the
set up wizard starts just before I get the "Microsoft Office Access has
encountered a problem....". I am starting to wonder if it is a issue with
the wizard in Access 2007. Can anyone give me any guidence?

Thanks,
