I have a user whose Access installs everytime it is opened. This is Office 2007 running on Windows XP. His other applications do not do this -- and I have no other user with this problem. Would appreciate a suggestions

Gina,
I too am having the same problem. I have Office Small Business 2007 installed on Vista and bought Access as a stand alone the other day. Everytime I open it, it wants to configure Access. Any ideas?

No idea why that happens. I have only seen that when multiple versions of Office are installed.

Is the fact that I bought Access 07 as a stand alone have anything to do with it. I installed Access after I had installed Office 07.

Not that I am aware of. It should only be an issue when there are different versions.
