BCM has a separate database. There are some links between Outlook and BCM; for example, between emails in Outlook and the sender in BCM Business Contacts.
You can copy or move Contacts between BCM and Outlook. When you copy them, there is no link retained between the Contact in Outlook and BCM. The general idea is that when you add BCM to Outlook, your customer contacts will be hadled in BCM, and your Outlook Contacts folder will be used for your other contacts.
