Birthday in the next 7 days
Jordan 3/16/2007 3:40:10 PM
I was trying to set up a current view filter to only show all contact whos
birthday is comming up in the next 7 days. So I can send them a card. However
it will only show people who will be born in the next 7 days. How can do I
filter birthdays without including the year? and can I then print envelopes
for only those contacts via mail merge or something?

Hi Jordan

Thank you for posting this question. Unfortunately, BCM does not currently
support this scenario but we will take this under consideration for future
versions.

You can, however, filter contacts birthday on a month to month basis. This
can be done by doing the following:
1. Right clicking on 'Search Folders' in the left pane > New Search Folder ...
2. Click on the Filter button. This will launch the Filter dialog.
3. Select the 'Advanced Filter' tab
4. In the 'Field name' drop down, select 'Birthday'.
5. In the 'Comparison' drop down, select 'Occurs In'.
6. In the 'Compare to' drop down, select the desired month.
7. You can view the result of your filter in the 'Review Results' tab, or
clicking 'OK' to create the search folder.

Thanks.
