Outlook 2007 BCM
RDU 2/3/2007 10:06:04 PM
I've purchased Office Professional 2007. I'm currently running the trial
version of the software. I'm somewhat reluctant to use the unlock code or
reinstall as BCM has not installed on any of the beta or trial versions. I've
tried pretty much every fix that other users have posted here. I get close
but no cigar! Is it time for a call to MS TS?

Good luck to you. I am still frustrated as you probably know if you have
read these discussions. I first ask for help 1/27.

I now have BCM installed, but I changed 2 things so I am not sure which
corrected the problem. First, I exported then deleted this registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Business Solutions eCRM. Second, I
installed .NET Framework 3.0. I suspect the solution is the first one, but
just in case I thought I should list the second one also.

Did you get "Download 2" after selecting "Microsoft® Office Small Business
2007" from http://us1.trymicrosoftoffice.com/default.aspx?culture=en-US ?

Please let us know if you are having trouble installing Business Contact
Manager for Outlook 2007.

BINGO! I don't know where you unearthed this information, but after taking
the necessary pre-fix precautions I followed your lead and BCM FINALLY
installed! It may indeed have had something to do with .NET Framework as I
found I had multiple versions without ever realizing it. Thanks!
