Separate BCM Files

Does BCM support more than one database? If so, how is a name assigned to a
specific database? How would the second BCM database be created? Does the
BCM file have a specific extension? In which default folder is the BCM
database stored?

I believe you can only open 1 database at a time, but BCM supports multiple
databases. At the top menu you will see "Business Contact Manager", then
"database tools" then "Create Select Database"

You can only have one BCM database "active" per Outlook Mail profile.
You can replace the profile's database, but when you do everything in
BCM (i.e. everything in the folders below the BCM folder) changes to
reflect the contents of a the new database.

The BCM database is managed by Sql Server. Although ultimately
everything is stored on disk, is better not to think of the database
as a file--like work has documents and Excel spreadsheets or workbook
files. Instead the database is a service provided by Sql. And the
folders are in the database, and not the other way around.
