Using Categories in Outlook to Mailmerge in Word
Wendy[ at ]formatuk.net 10/21/2008 2:08:10 PM
I am trying to filter on categories in Outlook 2007 and use the information
in word 2007 mailmerge. I can filter inside outlook by changing the views
but I can't seem to find the field name to use in Word Mailmerge. Can
anybody help?

Possible solution:
New Marketing Campaign
Campaign Type = Email or Direct Mail Print
Create a List = (Select appropriate option)
Click Review and Filter (located far right of Create a List)
Select Advanced Filter tab...
Field Name = Category, and complete the rest of the filter criteria as
appropriate
Select Review Results tab to see the results of the filter, and confirm.
Click OK
Complete the rest of the campaign form.
Clicking Launch will open Word Mail Merge.

Hope this helps...
