F11 is a toggle - it will take you between the two views.
Keep Window on Top pin - this toolbar command icon is also a toggle. It appears by default on the toolbar in SideView mode. You can add it to the toolbar in 'Normal' mode via: Right click Toolbar; Select Customize...; Commands Tab; View Category; find the Keep Window on Top command and drag up to the required place on your toolbar.
