Cuztomize DEFAULT SOUND in Word

I'm using Word XP. I want to change the default BEEP. Is this a registry edit? How do I
change it?

No, find these events in Control Panel | Sounds.

Thank you, Suzanne. I found the culprit. The Default sound in Word XP is called
"Exclamation" in the Sounds applet of the Control Panel. I changed it to a kinder,
gentler sound. ;-)
