Just now I went to print it and Windows could not open it. I 'associated' it with Word and still nothing. Perhaps I don't understand how this works. I assumed that by printing to 'file', I could then print the document at a later date. This is not a major issue as I will open the *.doc ducument and print it from there. Thanks, DH
