How do you remove the formatting/sizing boxes in Word 2003?
Jsegal 12/7/2008 4:11:03 PM
I created my resume with Word 2007. I then saved it as a .doc so that it
could be read in Word 2003; however, when I open it in Word 2003, it displays
the resizing boxes for my cells. This is not displayed in Word 2007. How do I
remove them so they aren't displayed?

What do you mean by "resizing boxes"? Table gridlines (Table | Hide
Gridlines)? Text boundaries? Something else?

I guess they would be considered text bounderies.

In Word 2003, Tools | Options | View: Text boundaries. In Word 2007, Office
Button | Word Options | Advanced | Show document content: Show text
boundaries.

I guess those aren't text boundaries, because this didn't work :(.

I think a better description of them, would be to say that they are cells. I
created them by Inserting Cells.

In that case, they're table gridlines. Table | Hide Gridlines.

That did it! But now, there are these little 'angles' at each corner of the
page. How do I remove these?
