MS Office/Word
Manny J. Perez 12/26/2008 2:38:00 AM
Went on vacation, came back and my 2003 Office/ Word programs were gone.

I cannot find the cd rom all I have is the corrupt 2000.

I do not want to use it, is there a way to reinstall 2003? Or is there a
free reinstall from MS?

No free installation. Why do you think your applications are gone? Did
someone uninstall them? You can't reinstall without the disks.

I assume that you mean the actual program is no longer on your hard disk?
If so, you could try System Restore and select a date *earlier* than when
you know the program was still available. If you do this, you will lose any
programs that were installed in the meantime (but you can also go back later
and "undo"), but it will not affect your data.

Does someone else have access to your computer? If you are the only person
who is supposed to have access, you might consider putting a password on it.
