Why does my text move unexpectedly?
dstotler 6/29/2007 2:36:04 PM
Occasionally as I'm writing in OneNote 2007 and picking up the pen (e.g., at
the end of the line), one or more characters, not necessarily next to each
other, will unexpectedly jump down the page a line or two. This occurs in
both handwriting & drawing mode. The effect can be undone with a couple of
CTRL-Z's.

If you can make a video showing this happen it would be useful for us to see
what you are doing and what it looks like. Otherwise if you doing this
while inking I am guessing it is because how our ink works. When you are
writing we put all of the ink down just as an image and then on idle the
computer will process your ink to see if there are works and if they are
connected this is how we make the outlines contain the entire word. In
general this works great and it was a huge improvement over OneNote 2003.
If you are encountering a problem with this it would be interesting to see a
video or a before/after screenshot.

If not I think that is what is going on. Hope this helps...take care.
