Create database permission denied
DaveM 2/10/2007 8:19:00 PM
Hi,
I have just installed Vista and Office 2007.

When I try to restore an old backup into BCM I get the error message "Create
database permission denied in database 'master'. Restore database is
terminating abnormally.

I have tried creating a new backup and restoring it but get the same message.
I would be grateful for any suggestions

Did you do everything as the same user? Did you create the BCM user
(i.e. a new Vista login) after installing BCM?

Hi Luther,
Yes as a test I created a backup and tried to restore immediately but no
joy. I've also checked the properties of the backup files and they all show
they are created by me.
