HELP!!!! PLEASE
kim 6/15/2007 7:59:01 PM
My windows crashed and I had to reinstall it. When I did this I lost office
97. It is still in the hard drive and I can access it but when I save it and
try to re-open it, I get a message that tells me it cant find the file and i
need to use the start up disk. The problem is that I don't have the start=up
disk. What do I do?

Time to upgrade - actually since you don't have the disks and Office 97 is
not a qualifying product, you'll need a full version of Office.

Hi, Kim,

If you no longer have the CD to install Office 97, you probably are out of
luck, as Office 97 is no longer available in retail channels or as a
replacement from Microsoft.

If you do have a CD for Office 97, then re-install it.

Note to the OP and to you, Office 97 is available from Amazon.com and
from Ebay so there's still options available.
