You can add the AutoText command to the Quick Access Toolbar by doing the following: Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Word Options. Click Customize. Some may like this ribbon thing but I find it confusing and difficult to unravel. I did read Gates' comment to Ballmer in USA Today about finding some features that were previously "hidden" to him, but I still think many features are just hidden in a different way.
